On Jan 8, 2026, the 'Smart Future, Robotic Brilliance' robotics lecture & experience event wrapped at Guangzhou Polytechnic of Technology, formally launching the AutoLife industry-education base.
On the afternoon of January 8, 2026, in Lecture Hall 3 of the Engineering Building at Guangzhou Polytechnic of Technology (GPIT), a robotics lecture-and-experience event under the theme "Smart Future, Robotic Brilliance" wrapped successfully. The event spread knowledge of smart robotics, sparked strong student interest, and marked the official launch of the AutoLife Science-Industry-Education Base — a new platform for school-enterprise co-cultivation.
GPIT Executive Vice President Fu Huanchang gave opening remarks, warmly welcoming guests and students and stressing the key role of smart robotics in future tech. AutoLife founder Dr. Chen Siwei followed, expressing confidence in the partnership and the base's future.
At the unveiling ceremony, leadership from GPIT and AutoLife jointly unveiled the base — formally launching this co-cultivation platform. The base aims, through deep cooperation, to seamlessly match education resources with industry needs and cultivate more high-quality, high-skill professionals for smart robotics.
After the unveiling, Dr. Chen Siwei delivered a keynote on "Smart Robotics Innovation Practice," systematically analyzing industry status and trends and outlining a broad and dynamic future for students.
The event also launched the "Talent Cultivation Plan" recruitment. AutoLife co-founder Ms. Gao Shan walked students through the "AutoLife Embodied Intelligence Studio" — its positioning, training model and prospects. After her talk, on-site QR-code signups gathered strong student interest, laying a foundation for selection and systematic training.
Students then experienced robot tele-operation. Under staff guidance, groups practiced robot control — strengthening direct understanding of smart robotics and sparking hands-on interest.
The AutoLife Science-Industry-Education Base is an important outcome of deeper collaboration between GPIT and AutoLife. The base will leverage both sides' strengths in joint R&D, talent training and technical exchange — injecting new vitality into the smart-robotics industry.
