On Jan 6, 2026, Guangdong AutoLife's opening ceremony and S2 humanoid robot launch wrapped at Guangzhou Huaxin Center — with multiple strategic partnerships signed.

On January 6, 2026, the opening ceremony of Guangdong AutoLife Technology and the launch of the S2 humanoid robot wrapped at Guangzhou Huaxin Center. Officials from Haizhu District, industry experts, partners and press witnessed AutoLife's launch — focusing on humanoid-robot innovation and industry applications. The event marks AutoLife's commitment to driving the region's AI industry ecosystem and low-altitude-economy fusion.

01. Spotlight opening — witnessing the new brand At the ceremony, AutoLife founder Dr. Chen Siwei delivered remarks. Anchored on the mission "popularize humanoid robots so AI benefits all of humanity," AutoLife focuses on humanoid R&D, production and deployment, aiming to break industry pain points via core technology. Dr. Chen said the company will leverage Haizhu's industrial policy and ecosystem to keep investing in R&D and to drive humanoids into multi-scenario large-scale use.

NUS Professor David HSU, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Haizhu City Development Chairman He Laigang gave remarks expressing best wishes and continued support.

After the speeches, Chairman He and Dr. Chen jointly unveiled Guangdong AutoLife — marking the formal start of operations. At the ribbon-cutting, AutoLife's in-house humanoid handed over the cutting props, showing core technology. Nine guests cut the ribbon together: Haizhu Bureau of Science, Industry, Commerce and Information Deputy Director Wu Xiaoying, Chairman He, Dr. Chen, Professor David HSU (NUS), Professor Cai Panpan (SJTU), Professor Lei Yuanzhong (NSFC), AutoLife co-founder Mr. Zhang Fan and others.

02. Product unveiling — S2 reshapes the smart experience Post-ceremony, the launch event detailed AutoLife's R&D journey from technology accumulation to product iteration. Dr. Chen unpacked S2's core specs, features and use cases, drilling into the three pillars: motion control, smart interaction and scenario adaptation. S2 has high flexibility, stability and adaptability — suitable for business service, industrial assistance, education and more.

A strategic-signing ceremony followed. AutoLife signed agreements with the AI School of Guangzhou Polytechnic of Technology, Hangzhou Antwork Network Technology and Guangzhou Haizhu Low-Altitude Economy Development. Together, they will collaborate on R&D, talent cultivation, resource integration and scenario co-build — forming an integrated "industry-academia-research-application" system that drives the convergence of smart robotics and low-altitude economy.

03. AutoLife: innovation-driven growth AutoLife's launch and the S2's release inject new energy into the humanoid-robot industry. Backed by strategic partners, AutoLife is well-positioned for breakthroughs in R&D and scenario landing. As core technology iterates and use cases expand, AutoLife will keep deepening the fusion of smart robotics and the real economy.

The opening laid solid ground for future growth. Going forward, AutoLife will deepen innovation, expand partners, and push S2 into scale deployment, supporting high-quality AI industry development.
